Recruiting and Operations

A road rider for nearly 30 years, Alisa has focused on getting more people riding, particularly women, for most of her powersports career. She owned one of every type and brand of motorcycle, experimenting with riding styles until she ultimately fell in love with adventure riding 17 years ago. This inspired her to ride the Trans-America Trail and the Continental Divide Trail in 2009, then continue on solo from her home in Connecticut to Argentina in 2009-2010.

“I love everything motorcycles…riding them, writing about them, public speaking about them, educating non-riders about them, and evangelizing the rider lifestyle. I’ve written two books specifically geared towards getting more women riding motorcycles, and I’ve created two large female-focused riding events to gain national attention drawing people towards riding motorcycles.”

While she now prefers adventure bikes, Alisa will ride anything from a bagger to a scooter or an e-bike in order to get in some helmet time. A big fan of travel, particularly slow travel, she enjoys riding motorcycles, 4x4s, and side-by-sides. Occasionally she eschews extreme adventure and travels with her partner in their Unimog because it’s such a badass vehicle.

“I’ve had the most rewarding career of travel and adventure in the powersports industry, and now I want to help others follow their passion and purpose by helping to match them with rewarding careers in the industry that’s given me so very much.”
