Melissa Coffey
Executive Recruiter

Melissa’s connection to the powersports industry began in her childhood. At just seven years old, she started counting t-shirts in the warehouse and spare parts at FOX Factory, a business with deep family ties.
“FOX is part of my history and why my heart has always been rooted in this industry. My love for motorsports, powersports, motorcycles, off-road activities, and all things racing fuels my passion and ongoing involvement in the off-road racing community through projects like Armageddon—I just can’t get enough!”
Before assuming leadership positions in OEM sales, Melissa’s career included prominent marketing roles at FOX and BELL Helmets. In these positions, she excelled at building high-performing teams of industry veterans dedicated to achieving results.
“Transitioning into recruiting feels like a natural next step for me. It combines my extensive industry knowledge, leadership experience, and ability to build high-performing teams. I have worked with top professionals in marketing, sales, product development, finance, and operations. I understand what it takes to identify and attract the right talent.”
Melissa holds bachelor’s degrees in legal studies and Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where she played Division I soccer. She later earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from San Jose State University.
Melissa is a contributing writer for Powersports Business, covering an assortment of industry topics in her “Coffey’s Corner” column.
