Technician (A or B-level) | Powersports + Snow
Location: Rocky Mountain, US
Compensation: $50K-$100K
Our premier multi-line powersports and snowmobile dealership client is hiring a friendly, experienced, and efficient powersports/snowmobile service technician. The ideal candidate will combine strong diagnostic abilities with technical expertise to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance services for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various powersports vehicles
- Complete manufacturer-scheduled maintenance services
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and chassis components
- Install aftermarket accessories and performance upgrades
- Document all service work performed and maintain accurate repair orders
- Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols
- Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools properly
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform quality control checks on completed work
- Communicate effectively with service advisors about repair status and technical findings
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years experience as a powersports technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and specialty tools
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver equipment
- Basic computer skills for service documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturer certifications (Polaris, Yamaha and/or BRP preferred)
- Experience with multiple powersports brands
- Snowmobile repair experience
- 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine expertise
- Experience with EFI systems and power commanders
- Technical school graduate in motorcycle/powersports repair

Compensation
- $50,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience and efficiency)
- Hourly rate plus flat-rate opportunities
