Our growing powersports dealership group is looking for an experienced, KPI-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales floor at one of its high-volume stores in South Central Pennsylvania. This role is an ideal fit for a current Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Floor Manager or Finance Manager with sales associate experience, ready to step up — Harley-Davidson experience preferred. The right candidate will also serve as a back-up F&I Manager when needed. This area offers a low cost of living, easy access to major East Coast cities, and a strong quality of life.
Position Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee day-to-day sales floor operations, drive team performance against key metrics, and step in as back-up F&I Manager as needed. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on data-driven decision-making and building a high-performing sales culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the sales team to meet/exceed unit and gross profit targets
- Manage sales floor flow for a fast, professional customer experience
- Track performance metrics (closing ratio, gross/unit, CSI, turn rate) and coach accordingly
- Desk deals and approve pricing to maximize profitability
- Serve as back-up F&I Manager — present products, structure deals, ensure compliance
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff; conduct performance reviews
- Partner with the GM on inventory, merchandising, and promotions
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of dealership sales management experience (Harley-Davidson/powersports preferred)
- Strong track record using performance metrics to drive results
- Working knowledge of F&I processes; able to serve as back-up F&I Manager
- Skilled at desking deals and maximizing gross per transaction
- Proven leadership recruiting, training, and motivating a sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- High integrity; strong grasp of sales/finance compliance requirements
- Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement preferred
