The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of powersports industry experience in a General Manager or General Sales Manager role, thrives in a structured, process-driven culture, and leads by example.
Strong team-building skills are essential — this role is centered on training, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team across departments, not just managing one. Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee overall dealership operations, drive unit sales and departmental performance, and develop the team while ensuring strict adherence to the dealership's established process — including F&I backup support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee overall dealership operations, P&L performance, and departmental coordination
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable sales, service, and F&I teams to hit performance targets
- Lead by example, staying hands-on with the sales floor and key deals
- Ensure adherence to the dealership's structured sales process and four-square method
- Step in to support F&I when necessary
- Partner with in-state leadership to execute growth strategies
- Train and mentor staff across departments on process compliance and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a GM or GSM role within a powersports dealership
- Strong unit sales background with demonstrated leadership ability
- Hands-on, high-energy leadership style
- F&I experience or ability to competently back up F&I as needed
- Highly coachable and process-oriented — must align with established company methods
- Willingness to relocate to the SE USA
