Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for full P&L oversight and strategic leadership of Sales, F&I, Service, Parts, and Marketing. The ideal candidate brings operational discipline, team-building capability, and a forward-thinking approach to customer acquisition and brand visibility.
This dealership values leaders who are comfortable leveraging social media, digital retail tools, CRM systems, and performance dashboards to drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all dealership operations with full accountability for revenue, gross profit, expense control, and net performance
- Develop and mentor department managers while building a strong culture of accountability and customer focus
- Drive unit sales, F&I penetration, fixed operations absorption, and overall departmental KPIs
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media presence, online reputation management, and lead response strategy
- Implement and optimize CRM, inventory management systems, and other retail technology platforms
- Maintain strong OEM relationships across multiple brands
- Ensure compliance, process discipline, and operational consistency across all departments
Ideal Candidate Profile
- General Manager experience in a high-volume powersports/motorcycle dealership
- Multi-line dealership experience
- Strong understanding of fixed operations and departmental synergy
- Data-driven decision maker comfortable working with reporting dashboards and performance metrics
- Digitally fluent – understands social media strategy, digital lead management, and online reputation impact
- Hands-on leader who can inspire teams while holding managers accountable
