General Manager | Powersports
Location: New England, US
Compensation: $100K-$150K
A high-performing, growth-oriented powersports dealership is seeking a proven General Manager to lead overall operations, elevate team performance, and drive the next phase of growth. This is not a maintenance role. The store is already performing well and needs a hands-on operator who can bring structure, accountability, and leadership to scale the business further. The ideal candidate understands how to balance aggressive growth with operational discipline, while building and developing a high-performing team across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of dealership P&L, including revenue, margins, expenses, and net profit
- Lead and develop department heads across Sales, F&I, Service, and Parts
- Drive unit sales performance, inventory strategy, and F&I penetration
- Oversee fixed operations with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Implement KPI-driven accountability across all departments
- Manage inventory levels, aging units, and floorplan exposure
- Elevate customer experience, CSI performance, and online reputation
- Support marketing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and local growth efforts
- Ensure operational compliance across finance, service, and regulatory areas
- Build and execute strategic plans for continued growth and scalability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven General Manager or senior dealership leadership experience
- Strong understanding of dealership financials, including P&L, margins, and cash flow
- Demonstrated success building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
- Experience leading both variable and fixed operations at a high level
- Ability to implement structure, accountability, and performance management systems
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on leadership style with strong cross-department communication
- Background in powersports preferred; adjacent industries considered
